Hey guys! It’s been a long time since you’ve heard from me and I’ve got a lot to catch everyone up on. Lots of exciting things happening in both my personal life and my career.
As many of you already know, I recently married my soulmate Keith Gipson in Bali! It was a beautiful, intimate wedding, with a small group of close family and friends. You can all look forward to hearing more about the event, and seeing all our photos in a later blog! Here’s a preview that I recently posted on my Instagram: ( MissLaceyJones )
Before the WSOP began I had spent most of my time in Asia. There seems to be so many opportunities for me in Hong Kong and China that it’s made sense for me to be here and capitalize on them. It was a tough transition at first, but now I love it. I’m looking forward to spending my time between the States and Asia in the near future.
Getting back to Las Vegas was bitter sweet this summer. I did a number on my ankle and have been dealing with healing and recuperation ever since. Bi-weekly physical therapy has been helping me a lot, but it has also set me back. However, I’m truly grateful to be out of crutches, as it wasn’t the easiest. I hadn’t realized just how difficult it is to hobble around on crutches! My first tournament back at the WSOP was the Razz event. My injury seemed to cause me a lot of trouble while playing because of the pain I was in. This led me to the decision of not playing that many events. Instead I stayed home, focused on healing, planned my wedding and trained for the WSOP Main Event.
In my next blog you can look forward to hearing about my new sponsor Skillbet and my WSOP Main Event for 2012. Also keep your eyes posted for the upcoming blog and video of my Bali wedding. I’m so excited to share the happiest day of my life with all my family, friends and fans that have supported me all these years!
